Big Color in the Springtime

One advantage of living here in Sarasota's paradise is that we have year-round color. But nothing decorates my world like the big color of springtime.

Enjoy these photos from the blooming beauty of Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, one of the treasures of this community.

spring is the best time of the year for colours.

Beautiful pictures and beautiful colors! I love how the bird in the second pic matches so well with the flower in the first. Would be cool to see them "posing" in one shot hehe Also, I like this garden bench in the last photo!

Very pretty. I esp. love the cardinal. Looks like a pic you'd see in a nature mag.

Beautiful pix, as always.

Do you find that Marie Selby Gardens makes you sleepy? I get so sleepy when I go there. Maybe because it's peaceful. I like to sit in the southwest corner of the gardens, looking out over the bay, and watching the shore birds wade.

Selby is a great place. Used to work in Sarasota a lot and visited several times. Check out the gallery here: www.jacksonvillearboretum.org

Thanks for stopping by my place. Don't be a stranger.
