Two Worlds

Two worlds:
Vibrating cell phone with 134 text messages, mostly from girls, in a 3 hour outdoor trip
Gurgling river water swollen after a rain

Two worlds:
Crispy fungus growing like warts on a tree trunk
Newly emerging leaves, first red with new life, turning a tender green

Two worlds:
Ken from Minnesota, old friend turned blogger pal, visiting for the week
Florida Husband, always within 50 miles of the coast

Two worlds, now one:
A Palm
A River

Two White Worlds:

Two Worlds:
Being Something, Seeing Something

Gropey, thanks so much for the concern and I realize I need to say sorry for making it sound worse than the whoel thign really was... I'm fine, really. Let's just say it was another incident that goes into the folder labeled "sexual harassment". But it's nothing too terrible, just a whole lot of disrespect.

I love these images... and I am still laughing at the 134 messages. It sounded so familiar... we have some popular boys in the house.

Happy weekend my dear friend! xoxo

Lovely pictures! You make me consider getting a digital SLR. My snappy just can't do the macro manual focus thing.

I think texting is one of the worst things ever to afflict mankind. It's bad for language, it's bad for communication skilz, it's bad for relationships. It's just plain bad.

You have an amazing mind.

Were you cooking up this theme all morning? Or did it pop up when you got home and looked at your pictures?

The ideas that roll out when you sit down to write always provide an intriguing surprise. Even after last night's post I still think you're missing your calling by not finding some way to write for a living.

PS Did I tell you that you have an amazing mind?

That's a cute fuzzy white bird. Always nice to step into a blog that takes you into another world, and one full of natural beauty.

I so loved how you did this post. Your photos and words are full of meaning and thought. And I think it's fun that your son is a lady killer already!

That's a nice piece of Sony equipment you have! I updated my profile, didn't realize it wasn't showing the email. Thanks for letting me know!

That's a lot of text messages! O love your pics. I got out in the great outdoors and took some this weekend, too. Sadly though, I am not a very good photographer, but I enjoyed it.

I love the soft white bird feathers and the soft feathery white flowers. looks like it was a very nice weekend.

I don't have the attention for 134 text messages. How do they even cope?
